The role of shaman is one of great importance to Taiwan’s indigenous communities. Today, even though these healers have become rarer, their role remains just as vital to the communities they serve. This submission to the 2nd Trending Taiwan Short Film Competition focuses on one Paiwanese shaman and her goal of passing her invaluable cultural knowledge to the next generation.
